Six months course in ITMR was really excellent, as it had answers to our doubts not by words but visually. Before i went there, i only had theoretical assumptions about n/w packets, traffics, cyber crimes. But after a short period not more than month, they broke all my theoretical assumptions by visualizing the concepts. Staffs are very friendly and well trained practically to deal with the subject, in such a way that, they taught us with live demos. Apart from it we also had CEO’s, Manager’s and professional’s from well reputed companies as our batchmates, which gradually improved our knowledge, as they always relate the class with the live problems. To finish things off i would rather say that, i behaved like a “Cyber Detective” during the course than being student.

I am working as an Assistant Professor for Hindustan University and have more than 5 years experience in teaching cyber security courses. I was looking for a cyber security course which would be comprehensive and structured, and which explains the basics to the absolute bleeding edge advanced. The pedantic approach to learning using practical and challenging labs is what made me take the Professional Diploma in Cyber Investigation and Laws certification (PDCIL). I actually learned a lot of very valuable and essential information and still use the course manual. The faculty were incredibly experienced and knowledgeable in the field of Cyber Investigations and Laws and the chance to meet and network with other individuals in the same position was a huge advantage. I now have at least ten other people like me that I can contact with stories questions. Many thanks to Hindustan University and HTC-ITMR.

Learnt various network security tools especially Wireshark and Encase.i have gained confidence to learn new things by myself. The session taken by Mr.Ravichandran and Mr.Kalimuthu showed the real world entity regards network security. My sincere thanks to Dr. Muthukumaran, Mr.Mohammed Samiuddin and all the staff members from ITMR.
My name is Ananthi. I come from Sivakasi and I chose to study at The Institute of Technology & Management Research (ITMR) because it offers the unique combination of Cyber Laws and Investigation in information technology in one programme. This diploma degree has given me insight into these two extremely influential parts of modern-day society and the ways in which they complement each other, specifically in a business environment. I enjoy being a student at SDU for two main reasons. First, I have experienced that communicating every day with people with different cultural backgrounds can be quite challenging – for example, minding cultural differences, religious preferences and values and keeping an open mind are some of the important things an international environment can teach a person. The programme Professional Diploma in Cyber Investigations and Laws (PDCIL) stresses a lot the importance of team-work as in today’s global environment, working in teams is a key skill. The second reason why I like this program is related to the lecturers. All of them are really helpful people who enjoy teaching and being challenged by their students and their fresh ideas.
All in all, I recommend this programme to people who would like to develop their interpersonal skills, as well as feel challenged intellectually by the unique mixture of cyber security, laws and investigations.
